La tarde de este miércoles se dio a conocer una lamentable noticia que remeció al mundo entero. Hablamos de la muerte del talentoso ex integrante de One Direction, Liam Payne, quien falleció a los 31 años luego de caer desde el tercer piso del Hotel CasaSur en Palermo, Argentina.
Según dio a conocer el titular del Sistema de Atención Médica de Emergencia (SAME), Alberto Crescenti, la celebridad británica fue hallada con “lesiones gravísimas incompatibles con la vida” de manera que no hubo posibilidad de reanimación.

Sobre el cantante
Liam Payne nació el 29 de agosto de 1993 en Wolverhampton, Reino Unido, bajo el nombre de Liam James Payne. Si bien, en su años de niñez su gran sueño era convertirse en corredor olímpico, a medida que creció se inclinó más por la música, una elección definida tras su audición para The X Factor en 2008.
Aunque en su primera participación en el programa musical Payne fue eliminado, dos años después volvió a postular y esta vez quedó seleccionado para formar parte de One Direction junto a Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan y Louis Tomlinson.
Junto a su agrupación, el cantante lanzó cinco álbumes de estudio, aunque a fines del 2015, la boy band anunció una pausa indefinida. Como solista, el cantante lanzó múltiples sencillos y colaboraciones. Asimismo, en 2020 se embarcó en la gira "2020 Tour" para promocionar su primer álbum como solista "LP1".
