La carrera por una de las estatuillas más codiciadas de la cultura pop está a punto de comenzar. Hace ya unos meses los MTV VMAs 2026 anunciaron oficialmente la lista de candidaturas para su próxima entrega de premios, fijada para celebrarse hoy, 27 de septiembre, en el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles.

El cuadro de honor de este año podría resumirse en una frase: batalla de generaciones. Madonna se instala en lo más alto de la tabla con un total de 11 nominaciones, respaldada por su trabajo en "Confessions II (The Film)". Muy de cerca se posiciona Taylor Swift, quien sumó 9 menciones gracias a su presencia en las categorías estelares de la jornada.
