Se veía venir, pero finalmente es confirmado. Metallica anunció que pospuso toda su gira por Sudamérica para el mes de diciembre, todo por culpa del brote de coronavirus.

Recordemos que la banda de James Hetfield iba a interpretar sus temas en esta región durante abril. Además, la primera fecha del tour era el Estadio Nacional de Santiago, donde todas las entradas estaban agotadas.

A través de sus redes sociales, Metallica informó que están en sus respectivos hogares respetando la cuarentena para evitar que se propague el Covid-19: «Todos estamos anteponiendo la seguridad, el aislamiento y el distanciamiento social, ¡pero no para siempre! Los conciertos por Sudamérica planeados originalmente para abril están en proceso de reprogramarse para diciembre».
